La Villa Therese

The accomodation is very spacious, clean and easy to reach from the airport. It‘s so close to the Ocean, supermarkets, gas station, hospital, restaurant and Takamaka Rum factory 😉. The most important thing: the staff is very friendly and helpful: if you need a car they make a call, you have an issue with car -they make a call, you need something they are happy to provide, they pick you up from the airport, they offer you beach towels and they wash your clothes for free + return in the same day.

Although not on the beach, it was only a very short walk to the beach. Great restaurants and many different supermarkets and food trucks, just a short walk. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We organised a hire car and a day trip through reception. The apartment was cleaned on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Garage was removed from the apartment each day. A large laundry basket was in the bathroom. If you wanted clothes washed and dried, you just placed the clothes in the basket and leave the basket near the refrigerator. Washing would be returned neatly folded within a few hours. Well provided kitchen, nice big lounge area. Outdoor shower to remove sand before entering the apartment. Beach towels readily available.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not just as guests, but as part of a home — a feeling that made all the difference. The villa itself is charming, impeccably maintained, and perfectly nestled in the peaceful area of Anse Royale. It strikes a beautiful balance between comfort and tradition, offering everything a family could need, while still giving you that special sense of being somewhere truly unique. It was the perfect base for exploring Mahé, but also a wonderful place to simply slow down, breathe, and savor the moment. A heartfelt thank you to Patrick, the gracious and attentive owner, whose care and presence made us feel so well looked after. His passion for La Villa Therese shines through in every thoughtful detail, and we are deeply grateful for his kindness throughout our stay. A special mention must go to the incredible management team — Hannah and Melanie — whose warmth and hospitality brought such joy to our experience. And to the lovely in-house cook, Limia, who prepared an unforgettable Creole dinner for us: it was delicious, soulful, and gave us a true taste of local culture that we’ll always cherish. You could feel the love in every bite. La Villa Therese isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to feel. It’s where memories are made and where the true spirit of the Seychelles comes alive. This apartment is really nice with friendly staff. We spent there 4 nights with our 3 small kids. As we spent here more than 3 nights, we got a free transfer from the airport to the apartment. We enjoyed the terrace and had breakfast and dinner there every day. There are several small shops nearby where you can buy food. The beach was within 5 minutes walk. There is also a nice restaurant at the beach. The apartment provides also beach towels for free and there is a shower in the garden to wash your feet after the beach.
